Free Firecracker Quilt Kit

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am having a give-away in honor of the 4th of July. I also know that we all like freebies too! I am giving away a neat quilt kit to make this fun quilt called Fireworks.   3. Thanks for this giveaway. My personal favorite is " I love America" and it's been that way for years.

    BUT the most famous quote that I have loved since childhood is from Irving Berlin as sung by Kate Smith, it is:

    God Bless America,
    Land that I love.
    Stand beside her, and guide her
    Thru the night with a light from above.
    From the mountains, to the prairies,
    To the oceans, white with foam
    God bless America, My home sweet home.

  12. The one "All American" quote that comes to mind the strongest is the first verse of The Star-Spangled Banner. It brings proud tears to my eyes every time I sing it or hear it.

  15. my son's and his buddies battle cry that they learned in boot camp in Fort Knox, KY, at the age of 19 as he boarded the plane to travel to a 'hot spot' in the mid-east, but first called his dad to tell him how to split up the mere $10K US life insurance between him and his 2 babies the army was going to send us should he not return alive -- "IF YOU AIN'T CAV, THEN YOU AIN'T S--T!! rita
