He believed so deeply in his duty, that our family was able to take comfort as he and U.S. Naval Academy friends went on to Iraq. Not all of them came home alive and we were blessed to have him home. Hi Ya'll. Keep the posts coming. Wow!! Thank you all for your touching stories too. Thanks to your family members who have served and died for our country. It really means a lot to me and my own family here. My husband was a Marine (actually you never stop being a Marine) Those were some of the best times of our married lives together. We were so young and proud to have served our country. I was just the wife of a very proud 2nd Lt., but let me tell you I was just as proud.
I love your quotes and the feelings that I get from each and every one of you touches my heart. I love this country so deeply.
Dear Stacy, Have prowled through your store, but don't see the pattern for the Fireworks quilt! I really want to buy one of the patterns. Hope you have duplicates somewhere. I'm a conselor, and in the lunch room there are lots of posters of famous people with milk mustaches, that say Got Milk ! Tell your "Forever Marine D H" They now have one, with DS's picture, that says "Got Marines, You bet your USA !"
